Join The Earlybird256 Brunch Challenge

Have you ever heard the line “there are hungry kids in Africa” and wondered how your current meal could benefit them? Now you can contribute to helping underprivileged communities in Africa not only have food on their plates, but also have access to information about nutrition — all by enjoying everyone’s favorite meal: brunch.

Unfortunately, most of the people in the communities we serve can only afford one meal a day. Many do not even have access to basic necessities like sugar and salt. The Earlybird Brunch Challenge was created to support our I AM NUTRITION affirmation, which focuses on promoting food security, easier access to clean water, and workshops on nutrition.

During the campaign, whenever you brunch — whether it’s at home, at your favorite local spot, with friends, family, or by yourself —  we ask that each participant donate $5. All of the money will be used to fund our porridge program, which provides our superstar students with breakfast and lunch so that they don’t have to learn on an empty stomach. We also teach children about the nutritional value of the foods they have access to and the benefits of a balanced diet.

Make it a brunch to remember. Take time to laugh with friends, connect with loved ones, or reflect quietly on your own. It’s been a tough year, but we stay thankful for everything we still have and that we’re still able to spread love to others. As always, we give gratitude to those who made the meal, and tip your server if you eat out.

The EarlyBirdBrunch challenge will go on until January 2022, and whether you participate once, every weekend, or even just share the link with your network, we greatly appreciate your involvement. If you do take part, don't forget to share your experience with us on social by using the hashtag #DoingLittleThingsWithPassion.
